Generate art based on your IP address, current time, and the moon phase

How the Seed is Generated

Each piece of art is generated from a unique seed that combines three cosmic and digital elements. First, your IP address is converted into a full numeric value, representing your digital identity. Second, the last 50% of the current timestamp's digits are extracted, capturing the precise moment in time. Finally, the moon phase is calculated based on the timestamp, returning a value from 0 to 999,999 that cycles through the lunar month. These three components are combined to create a deterministic seed that ensures every generation is unique yet reproducible—the same IP address, timestamp, and moon phase will always produce the same artwork.

How the Art is Generated

The seed drives a seeded random number generator that controls every aspect of the artwork's creation. Each piece combines one to three different visual styles layered together with various blend modes, creating complex and unique compositions. The generator selects from a diverse palette of geometric patterns, abstract flows, particle systems, fractals, spirals, waves, cellular patterns, starfields, gradient meshes, organic blobs, kaleidoscopes, noise patterns, mandalas, psychedelic patterns, rainbow swirls, neon grids, and energy beams. These algorithmic patterns are then enhanced with post-processing effects including glows, color shifts, vignettes, and rainbow overlays, all determined by the seed to ensure visual consistency.

Inspired by Master Artists

Beyond algorithmic patterns, the generator pays homage to six legendary artists whose styles have been translated into code. The system can incorporate elements inspired by Hilma af Klint's spiritual geometric abstractions, Michelangelo's classical forms and dramatic compositions, Picasso's cubist deconstruction, Leonardo da Vinci's scientific precision and sfumato technique, Vincent Van Gogh's expressive brushwork and vibrant color, and Vassily Kandinsky's pioneering abstract expressionism. These artistic influences are algorithmically interpreted and combined with the procedural patterns, creating a fusion of classical art history and modern computational creativity.

Every generated image is saved with a filename based on its seed, allowing you to recreate the exact same artwork by using the same seed components. This deterministic approach bridges the gap between randomness and reproducibility, creating art that is both unique and traceable to its cosmic and digital origins.
